Olga Towers
Olga Towers (née Hoffmann, dates unknown). Niece of William R. Hoffmann, founder of Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee Company. Grandmother of Jack Loep, an H&H collector who holds original H&H historical photos received from a storage-locker find (November 2024).
Family connection
William R. Hoffmann had three brothers and four sisters, all of whom were still resident at New Braunfels at the time of his death in January 1912. Olga Towers was the daughter of one of these siblings — her parent’s identity is not yet established. Her birth name and marriage to a “Towers” are inferred but not documented.
The chain to William Hoffmann: Hoffmann sibling → Olga Towers (née Hoffmann?) → Jack Loep (grandson).
What is known
Source: Facebook comment by Jack Loep (November 2024) in “Classic San Antonio: 1950–1999”:
“My grandmother is Olga Towers, niece of William Hoffmann. It’s taken 3 years to find 2 coffee cans so these would be a great addition to my small collection.”
Jack received original H&H historical photos (found in a San Antonio storage locker) from Terrie Leonard/Vollmer after she posted them in the Facebook group in November 2024. He already holds two H&H coffee cans.
