Edward William Menger, 78, of 222 Primrose died Thursday, Nov. 10. Survived by sister, Miss Margaret Menger; brothers, August, Louis B., Gus P., Rudolph W. and Theodore J. Menger, all of San Antonio; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Menger was a graduate of Old St. Mary’s College, a member of St. Peter’s and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, one of the oldest members of the Quarter Century Club of S.A.M.S.CO., having been employed there continually for over 50 years. Retired two years and Stockholder in the H&H Coffee Co. Rosary Friday 7:30 p. m. at Zizik-Kearns - Downing Chapel. Funeral Saturday 9 a. m. at Zizik-Kearns - Downing chapel and 9:15 a. m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (Downtown) with Requiem Mass to be offered by Very Rev. Paul J. Ehlinger.
